Lithium Battery

Lithium batteries (including ternary lithium batteries and lithium iron phosphate batteries) should be avoided from being stored at full power for a long time, and daily charging to about 90% is sufficient; this type of battery supports fast charging function, but it is recommended to reduce the frequency of fast charging, and fast charging is strictly prohibited in low-temperature environments; avoid over-discharging of the battery, and charge in a timely manner when the power is lower than 20%; regularly check the Battery Management System (BMS) to ensure its normal operation and guarantee battery safety.

Lead-acid Battery

Lead-acid batteries need to be charged with a three-stage charger (constant current-constant voltage-trickle charging), the charging duration is controlled at 8-10 hours, and it is strictly prohibited to exceed 10 hours; a deep discharge operation should be performed on the battery every 2 months, and the battery should be fully charged in a timely manner after discharge to balance the battery pack voltage; frequent shallow charging and shallow discharging should be avoided, and it is recommended to charge when the remaining power is 20%-30%; when purchasing batteries of the same model, priority should be given to products with heavier weight, which have a relatively longer service life.

Safety Warnings

It is strictly prohibited to perform battery charging operations in closed spaces such as indoors, corridors and bedrooms. This behavior violates fire safety regulations and poses significant potential safety hazards; it is strictly prohibited to privately modify the battery, add a battery compartment or replace an incompatible battery. Such operations are likely to cause safety accidents such as short-circuiting and fire; scrapped batteries must be handed over to regular recycling outlets for professional treatment, and random discarding is strictly prohibited to prevent pollution to the environment.

Abnormal Handling

If the battery is found to have abnormalities such as bulging, leakage, peculiar smell, abnormal heating or abnormal noise during charging, the use and charging operations should be stopped immediately, the power supply should be cut off, and professional maintenance personnel should be contacted for inspection and treatment. Self-disassembly of the battery is strictly prohibited; if the battery's cruising capacity drops sharply or the charging time is abnormally shortened, professional inspection should be carried out in a timely manner to investigate the problems of battery performance attenuation or failure. It is recommended to conduct a professional health inspection of the battery every 6-12 months to timely grasp the battery status.
