1. In terms of battery capacity
The capacity of lithium-ion batteries is generally 8-10 amperes, while lead-acid batteries have a capacity of around 20 amperes.
2. In terms of driving kilometers
For example, with the same 48V battery, both lithium-ion and lead-acid electric vehicles can travel 30-40 kilometers when fully charged, and their speed depends on the size of the motor used.
3. In terms of durability
Lithium ion batteries have strong durability, slow consumption, over 500 charging and discharging cycles, and no memory, with a general lifespan of 45 years. Lead acid batteries generally have memory and a lifespan of about two years, with deep charging and discharging up to 400 times. If a maintenance free lead-acid battery is used, it should be noted that the battery has a low water loss, and distilled water is generally not needed during use.
In terms of durability, lithium-ion batteries have good vibration resistance. The fully charged battery is securely fixed and vibrates for 1 hour at a frequency of 16.7Hz with a 4mm amplitude. There is no leakage, expansion or rupture of the battery, and the open circuit voltage is normal; Good overcharging resistance, 25 degrees Celsius, fully charged battery with 0.1CA charge for 48 hours, no leakage, no battery expansion or rupture, normal open circuit voltage, capacity maintenance rate above 95%; Good resistance to high current, fully charged battery with 2CA discharge for 5 minutes or 10CA discharge for 5 seconds, no conductive parts melted, and no appearance deformation.
